I'll Make The Kessle Run In Less than 12 Parsecs! - Interim Report

At the start of the school year I did not have PE and therefore did not get as much physical activity as I do now. Now since the beginning of semester 2 PE, I have noticed my fitness steadily increasing. I do not have documented evidence, but I can say that I joined the girls rugby team, which was a big step for me, in terms of fitness and social interactions. With that, twice a week and fitness twice a week, I predict that my fitness will continue to increase.
In terms of class dynamic, I think that I bring respect for the teacher and other students, a positive attitude, and leadership skills.
Some factors that influence my work ethic and effort may be the time of the day (morning) which makes it difficult sometimes to try my hardest, but sometimes it is an advantage as I DO want to try my best. I also think that after a rough day of rugby practice, it is sometimes hard to work out the very next morning, but I get over it. I feel that I am always prepared for class, with appropriate gym clothes, and I do bring leadership skills when necessary, but I think I could be more of a leader. I do not think that I have improved on any skills, other than , maybe gaining more stamina while running.
For my extra-curricular physical activity, I have rugby practice that I always attend twice a week. I take the dog out for a walk, when possible ( a moderate walk), and I go to the gym, also when possible (recently recorded in my duke book)
My dietary choices have been affected, after my incident with the hill run, I make sure to eat a full proper breakfast everyday.
To prevent injury, I try to stretch after a workout, but honestly, I do forget sometimes.
I have been involved with my community by recently volunteering at the school for wheel chair basketball with teenagers from other schools. I have also been regulary attending the ideas36 meetings, with a new program called CityU, that will take all of us to city hall to explore municipal problems, etc.
In the course, I really enjoy the new approach to fitness. It is not dreadful and is for the most part, fun. I also like the way we do many activities with the other grade 10 class.
I do not think that I have many limitations to participating other than any injuries (major or minor) that may arise over this period of time.
My plans for continued growth is to continue to eat healthily, and participate regulary in PE class and extracurricular activites.
